Adelyn at 2 years old

I have realized lately that Adelyn is growin up. I love this stage of life... although it seems like I love every stage. I thought I would fill ya'll in on what she is up to nowadays!

She LOVES to dance. She asks me about 3-4 times a day to "dance on the carpet with me". So we put some music and twirl and twirl and twirl and twirl.... until we are dizzy and then we do it again. She actually is a great dancer. She dances to the beat really well. I guess she'll be a dancer like her momma!

She is always in a play dress. She got some play dresses from both Grandparents this Christmas and whenever she is home, she is in a play dress. Her poor Cinderellie (no pun intended) dress is torn to pieces at the top and the sleeves are the only thing that holds it up. She loves dress up.

She is such a girlie girl! She loves to talk on the phone. She HAS to have her fingernails painted, to likes to wear her gingerbread necklace (or any necklace for that matter), she LOVES shopping, she is always playing with her vanity set and doing her own hair or she is "cooking dinner' in her kitchen. She also likes to help me clean the house.

Adelyn is a book worm. She will go sit in her room and just "read" book after book. She loves when we read to her.

She has a broad vocabulary and she pronounciates so well. I sometimes forget I am talking to a 2 year old. Of course like all 2 year olds, she is great at copying what I say. It really has made me think about and try to change some of the things I say. She will tell about her day on the phone and sometimes she gives an accurate account.

Adelyn is such a friendly outgoing girl. She will talk to whoever, whenever. She is definately not shy. She loves to go to nursery and I have been lucky that she has never cried in nursery when we left. She just loves to play with kids her age!

She loves her Grandmas! She likes to have "tea parties" with Grandma Susie and she likes to go to the college to visit Grandma Rowley.

Her new thing is that she is "going to class"! I dont know what she'll do when Trav is done with school:)

We are so lucky to have such a spunky, fun, adorable, and beautiful girl! We love her so much!

So I wanted to send out some Christmas Cards.... but we didnt get it done in time with the last week of school and finals for Travis, followed by my surgery...followed quickly by Christmas. But here are some pictures we took for the card. We hope you all had a memorable season!

So sorry it has been so long since I have updated. I dont even have Christmas posted. Christmas was wonderful. Adelyn had so much fun opening presents and being with cousins and family. Travis was so happy to have some time off of school and spent a lot of time taken care of me after my surgery. I felt really good on Christmas day which was so nice. Here are some pics of our Christmas.

Surgery!!!

I am having my first surgery and I am being such a baby about it. I am scccccrrrrd out of my wits! I am having my tonsils out. I probably wont post for a while.... but I will let you know if I lived when I have some time. Any advice would be much appreciated:)

I have not been so good at posting in December. I should be getting a cute pic of Adelyn with Santa at the Parowan Christmas Festivities. They had a fun parade and santa came. We had so much fun with Shonell and her family. I will be posting them. Adelyn has never been afraid of Santa. She loves him. I am so excited for Christmas this year because she is actually excited and knows "santa brings me presents". We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and are able to spend to some time with family!

Welcome Home Elder Rowley!!

My HIlarious brother Nick came home from his mission in Argentina on Wednesday. We missed him so much. He was an awesome missionary. He is adjusting to carpet, English, cars, large homes, etc. Here are some pics of the airport when we picked him up. We love you Nick and are very glad you are home!!!!
