So adjusting to life with 2 children has had its challanges, but I LOVE my kids and being a mother. Adelyn has had a really hard time adjusting. Come to find out, when we told her she would be sleeping over at Grandma's she thought when Boston came to the family she was going to have to LIVE with Grandma and was no longer a part of our family. It breaks my heart to know that she has been thinking that all this time. She has had a hard time with me and has been mad at me since we got home. But she has finally decided that I am cool again after I took her to the dollar store and got her some easter stickers and some chalk. She had been drawing pictures of the family, minus me, and telling everyone that I was at work. She is so helpful and such a sweet sister. She just adores Boston and is always giving him hugs and kisses. Boston had his 2 week Dr. appt. yesterday and he is growing like a champ. He now weighs 5 Ibs 11 oz... I must be feeding him straight cream. That is over a pound in 2 weeks he has gained! He has also grown a whole inch and is now 19 inches long. His head (they have been really worried about because it was so small) is also growing very well... he is at least on the charts now. He is figuring out his nights and days also. This has been such a relief for me. For about a week I was surviving, and not very well, on little amounts of sleep. I still dont get what I used to, but that was to be expected. Things are getting back to the new normal for us, and we are so grateful for our 2 healthy kids.

Baby Boy Shower!
So my awesome friend Diane (and Jenny Miner) threw me a baby shower for my baby boy on Saturday February 13th. It was so much fun. We ate and talked and laughed. It was low key and perfect. There was TONZ of family there and I appreciate the love and support from all my family on both sides and friends have given our little family. Adelyn was very excited for "baby brothers birthday party." Grandma Orton, Merna, Mom Rowley, Mom Young, Both my Sisters and both of Trav's sisters, my Sisters in laws/future Sis in laws were all there but one, my Veater nieces, Aunt Kris and Kaylie, Diane, and Jenny. Baby Boy Young was spoiled. I got tonz of clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets.....everything I need for baby. Thank you all and we love and appreciate all you.

Getting Close
Today I went for my check-up with my doctor. He told me that anytime now, that I am far enough along that they will not stop labor. Very exciting and a makes me a little nervous to actually have 2. Adelyn sleeps about 10 hours a night, and therefore I have gotten used to a lot of sleep. I am definately expecting this to change when the baby comes so, do I limit my sleep now to prepare, or do I just soak in all the sleep I can get? Hmm...

Changes!
Well, we started a new sememster. This time of year always makes me nostalgic, excited, and it is a little scary. We have a new ward, we will have a new baby, and Trav will graduate which means we MIGHT have a new job in a new city. Furthermore, yesterday, January 5th was my last day of teaching. I will miss the teachers and the students, but I am very excited to just spend this last month and a half with my little Adelyn and to prepare for baby boy. It is crazy to think it won't just be me and Adelyn ever again... so we are going to soak up the time. I am getting so anxious to meet baby boy though and am excited our little family is growing. Having a boy will be a new adventure and I am thrilled about it. Another welcome change is that Trav has a lighter load of homework and classes so we get to see him a little more than usual. He is spending the extra time working though..... he such an awesome husband and father. Anyway..... just wanted to journal and write my thoughts down.

A Sunbeam!!!!
Today was Adelyn's first day of Primary! I cannot believe I have a child in Primary. This is the picture she drew in Sunbeams. We also went to our new family ward for the first time (we were in a married college ward, but they dont have a primary so we were kicked out). It is a welcome change for both Trav and I. Although we will miss the people in our college ward, we both felt like it was time to move on. Adelyn told us she cried in Sunbeams, but no one came and got us. She said they "sang songs and stuff and it was long." Bless our friend Kinlee's heart, right after sacrament she took Adelyn by the hand and the two went running down the hall to primary. Adelyn felt right at home and I was SUPER grateful for Kinlee.
