Boston 4 months

Boston had his 4 month appointment yesterday. Today he has had scream cry....im pretty nervous about that. Other than that his appointment went well. He weighed 12 pounds 8 oz. which placed him in the percentile. He is 23. 5 inches long and in the 9th percentile. He is growing very well... hes just a little guy. He loves to be talked to and grins and babbles a lot. I think he is teething because he is Trav's aunt Dee came and stayed at our house so she could play with all the nieces an droolung like crazy and sucks on everything. He tried his first food today which was oatmeal cereal with water. He spit it up and hated it. I tried to give him some apple juice... he spit that out also. Oh what a joy he is in our lives. He laughs and loves his sister. Here is a couple pics of them just playing and loving each other.

Aunt Dee's Here!

Aunt Dee came and stayed with us this last week and we had a BLAST!!! Adelyn got so spoiled (I am still trying to detox her) and it was wonderful for her to see the Boston who will will carry on the Young family name. Our days were filled with making shirts, making chocolates, making boutanneers (spelling?), going fishing, playing in the sprinklers with Rudger in the backyard, making reverent books, and thats just to name a few off the top of my head. It was such a treat to have her come stay. She was the perfect guest and it was wonderful to have adult conversation during the day. Here are some of the pics we took. We love and miss you already Aunt Dee!

Summer Games 2010

This week (thursday) was the annual summer games ceremony. We went to a steller BBQ at Luke and Candaces followed by walking and walking and tripping and walking to some seats in the stands to watch the opening ceremonies! The highlight of the summer games this year was playing on the open football field and dancing to boogie nights. U know Adelyn loves to dance. Here is some video of her and her and her BFF Reagan dancing below. After dancing we went and sat in the stands where Grandma Susie and Sterling had joined Grandma Rowley and Payton. We watched the fireworks. Then Reagan and Payton spent the night at our house. The next morning me and the kiddos woke up, ate breakfast, I got the girlies in the shower came into the living to find Payton was sick, sick, sick and had thrown up! Poor boy. Our sleepover/fun day was minimized quite a bit..... but we will try again this weekend~
