And our Family will be complete!!

Thats right!  Travis and I expecting our 5th and final child in November.  Due date is November 20.  It was strange because when we went to Sacramento I said to Travis I am nausated like I was when I was pregnant with Addy during some point of the drive.  But I never thought anything of it.  I was craving salad with crasains, croutons and ranch and would eat 2 bowls of it everyday. I had signed up to do this weight loss exercise program with Bertie Travs cousin.  And it was a killer just climbing my stairs. I couldnt figure it out.  Then it dooned on me... I had not had my time of the month for a while.  So I went to the store that day and took a pregnacy test.  It came back positive.  I took the test down to Travis who was working and showed him.  He was excited.  I was scared.  I am scared. I don't know what it is like to have a toddler and a baby (all my kids are spaced 4 years in between) and now I have 2 toddlers and a baby.  I am very excited to have all my children here and to be done with this stage of my life though.  We had our ultrasound at 18.5 weeks and Travis and I decided to not find out gender.  We decided we had the girl, boy and multiple experiance.... why not have the ? experience.  It was strange because originally I thought we were having a girl but during the ultrasound both Travis and I felt it was a boy.  So we are thinking up boy and girl names, but right now I figuring we will be a family of 3 boys and 2 girls.  We will see.  I have gotten really big really fast.  My stomach is ginormous. I think it is about as big as it was when I had Addy.  I still throw up but it is always because I forget to eat and go to long without eating.  We are excited.  But to be really honest.... I am scared to death.  Addy made the Diamond Elite dance team which she worked her bum off to be on and she will be dancing 3 days a week.  Boston is playing flag football. Max and Emmy are into everything and just such a handful to corral anywhere we go.  But, I know this baby was meant to be in our family and I know that Heavenly Father will help to accomplish my role at this time of life.  We are thrilled!

Emmy and Max turn 2

These two have been a wild, fun, hard, adventurous ride.  They turned two today.  Yes I can believe they are two.  It has been a whirlwind of crazy... both good and bad crazy.  We did a smaller party this year and just went to dinner and had families over for cake and Ice Cream.  They are busy and talking a lot more.  They are best friends and worst enemies.  They are growing up and I love each of them dearly.  Here are their  2 year old pictures!

Jelly Belly Factory

Dee and Dolly had told us to take our kids to the Jelly Belly factory when we were on our way back to Sacramento from San Francisco so we did.... and it did not disappoint. Of all the attractions we saw, this was our kids favorite.  Max was especially enthralled with the machinery and tools being used.  Addy and Boston loved the candy.  It was a blast.  A great memory for our family!

FairyTale Land

When Travis was kid, he would spend most of his summers at his Grandma Janet and Grandpa Ed's house.  It was a tradition to go to Fairytale land.  Each time we are in Sacramento we make it a point to take our kids to Fairytale Land.  They all had an enjoyable experience.  I am thinking the next time we go Addy will be a little older and not so in to it.... so I am so glad we went this time and grateful my kids can make memories in the same places Travis did.

Muir Woods

While we were in Sacramento we decided we wanted our kids to see San Francisco as well.  We drove to Muir Woods and Addy and Boston were in awe at how many and how big the trees were. It was slightly raining and that made it all the more fun for them.  Boston started chit chatting with one of the female workers there and she ended up kinda taking us on this little tour and giving us tidbits of information we would not have otherwise known about Muir Woods it was such a great experience and Im so glad they got to see it.

Sacramento 2016

Grandma Janet has not been able to meet Max and Emmy so Travis and I decided during Addy and Boston's spring break we were going to take a trip to Sacramento to see Grandma, Dee and Dolly.  We drove down and the kids pretty well.  Max started getting really restless toward the end.  We were so excited to see Grandma, Dee and Dolly when we got there though.  It was a great time full of memories.  We were able to see, talk, and hear a lot about family history as is typical at Grandma's house.  We spent nights having wonderful talks about life, the gospel, family life and memories.  Our kids enjoyed playing on the swing in the Atrium and Addy and Boston loved climbing the big hill in the backyard.  We went to the graves of Grandpa Ed and showed Boston who he was named after.  We taught our children about Uncle Alan.  It was such an enjoyable trip.

Update on Emmy and Max (21 months)

We FINALLY got rid of the bottles!  We have offically been one week and one day since a bottle for either of them!  Max was sick and Trav had to run to the store to get milk and got whole milk from the dollar store instead of the Vitamin D milk from walmart.  It upset Max's belly again just like it did when he was allergic as a baby.  It took 2 blessings, 3 nights of not sleeping and 4 days of constant crying when I thought this feels like it did when he was allergic to milk.  And then it donned on me! It was a different kind of milk. I told Travis I was using this a time to no longer use bottles.  I told Max the bottles hurt his belly and gave him new milk in his sippy's. I put all the bottles away and whenever he would ask for a baba I told him it hurt him and gave him a sippy.  Emmy only wanted the bottles because Max had the bottles so once he didn't have a bottle she didn't ask.  Until 3 days in and then I told her they were gone... no more bottles.  They have been using sippy's ever since.  Now I need to potty train!

Emmy is talking a ton!  She repeats everything you say and is very clear.  She is very demanding and when she does'nt get her way is very vocal about it.  She can be very sweet or very mean.  She will pull Max's hair but she will also kiss him and hug him. She wants constant attention and loves to be held.  Whenever Max gets attention she will encroach and try to get me to take her instead.  She loves to dance.  She loves Addy and Boston and will ask often where they are.  She loves books.  She loves her pillow.  She carries it all through the house, plops it down, lays her head down and sucks her thumb in every room in every nook and cranny there is.  One time Max pooped in the tub with her in it and they both had to have a shower.  Ever since then she is terrified she or Max will poop it the tub.  She is very girly. She loves to have her fingers and toenails painted (blue) and she loves to have her done.  She will brush me or Max's hair if she can.  She loves shoes!  She prefers to be outside most of the time.

Max talks waaay less and is the quiet independent type.  He rarely cries.  He is so kind and he usually gives Emmy what she wants.  If it is something he really wants he will fight for it back when she takes it.  He LOVES balls! And that is an understatement.  Buttball, baseball, those are about the only words he speaks. He throws a ball most all day long.  He LOVES being outside.  He has this sweet innocent smile that lights up any room.  He is so handsome. He had his first hair cut last week. The back of his hair his literally narly. His hair is so very curly. He has the darkest eyes that slay me with the longest eyelashes you will ever see. He likes to be read to.  His favorite book is Brown Bear Brown Bear.  He will say some animal sounds.  I am very concerned about his speech. He seems to want to say more, but I cannot understand what he says.  He gets frustrated.  He hates nursery.  I am putting him in a different class than Emmy to see if that will help him at all. He runs most all time and rarely walks.  His run is adorable.  It is more of a fast bounce as he goes.  He says shoes.  He says yes.  He says no.  He just cant seem to put words together.  Maybe with time. He used to do this adorable "Oh" face. But stopped doing that about 2 months ago. He kisses Emmy when she is sad and it is so cute. He has a very tender heart.  He loves the bath.  He loves remote control cars and loves when he can drive his dads.  He is so GQ and handsome.  He's got most of his teeth in.  He hates riding in the car.  And he really hates having the sun in his face. One of the only times he gets really mad!

I am so grateful for these two!  They are definately a wild ride, but I wouldnt have it any other way. Each is so unique, fun, and each add so much to our family through their personalities!
