Boston at 2 months

First I must start with an update of my little Adelyn. My spunky little girl has not lost her spunk or love of life, but she has become very tender hearted since brother came around. The other day I asked her to put up her dress ups off her floor. When I went in the room she had cleaned her room.... including making her own bed all by herself. I was so proud of her, so I took this picture of her by the bed. She and I still have tea parties... just less of them since the time is split between her and brother. She loves Princess and Frog and would watch it all day every day if possible. Her best friend these days is Owen, our neighbor across the street. She tells me at least once a day that she "chooses to marry Owen." I remind her he still has to go on a mission, she has to go to school and college and Travis is always telling her to "keep her options open." He is a cute boy and they play really well together. Usually they play Pocahontas and John Smith or Hercules and Meg. She has been really facinated with death since we had a FHE the resurrection for Easter. She gets sad and says she misses her Grandpas. She loves to play dress up in her many dresses. What would I do without this sweet girl? I love her mucho!

Boston had his 2 weeks appt on the 16th. He weighed 9 pounds 2 ounces. I thought he had hit the 8 pound mark for sure, but the 9 was a surprise. He is healthy as a horse. He is getting out of his "Purple" phase at night. Between a funeral, a homecoming, first babysitter, ward party and all the other happenings of the month, I must say he really is a good baby. The first couple weeks he cried a lot, but now he sweet as could be. He loves to cuddle with me and I love it. He smiles and laughes now. It is the sweetest thing. His eyes are still very blue.... I am crossing my fingers they stay blue. He loves when his sister talks to him. Just like Adelyn, he gets bored very easy. He likes to go out and about rather than sitting at home. He is a boy through and through... he burps and farts like one too! He is such a perfect addition to our little family.

Travis received the outstanding engineering student again this year. It was a great ceremony and he was very happy both his parents were there to attend. He will graduate next week.... CRRRAAAZZZZY! We both never thought this day would come and here it is. Next step is a job. Where? No idea. Luckily we can afford to be a little picky though.... since I am not so hip on the idea of moving. He is very busy trying to get all his homework done these next couple weeks.

Well thats life for now in a nutshell. Hope all is well you!

Boston's Blessing Day

Travis blessed Boston on April 11th. He gave such a great blessing and Boston was such a good little boy while his Dad blessed him. This was the 1st ordinance all of my brothers were able to participate in so it was really neat for me. Unfortunately my little Bro. Brennan wound up sick so he wasnt in the circle.... but all of my siblings were there. Boston looked like such a handsome boy, as you can see by the pictures. I have NO pictures of Adelyn with us that day because she was with her Cousin Reagan most of the day and could not pin her down to take a picture.  Makes me REALLY SAD.  After the blessing, our families came to our house and ate lunch and visited. It was so much fun and the little kids had so much fun too. I love that my siblings love to get together and we all get along and enjoy one anothers company. I also love that Adelyn knows and loves to play with her cousins. Thanks to all who were there and made the day extra special.

Our Father in Heaven, with the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood, we take this child in our arms to give him a name and a blessing. The name he shall be known by the world and throughout his life and on the records of the church is Boston Edwin Young.

We bless you, Boston, with health and life and the Spirit of the Lord to go with you.
We bless you that you will come to know the Savior and to love Him.
We bless you that you will be an example to your family and to those around you.
We bless you in your callings and the places you will serve.
We bless you in your family and as a father and husband to perform your duties with the
Spirit and in a way that is pleasing unto the Lord.

Little Momma

Today Adelyn decided her baby doll was hungry.  She went and got her dolly and a blanket. Then she put her baby under the blanket and "nursed"  her baby. She is such a good lil mommy! Oh all the things she is learning having a baby brother around.  I'm sure over the years he will teach her many more things I am not sure I want her to learn!!

Easter 2010

This was such a busy easter time! On Saturday the Rowley clan went to the "crack" in St George and hiked, ate and did an Easter egg hunt. Chase  took Keisha for a walk overlooking the temple on a rock and gave her a beautiful rock for her finger. It was exciting. We were there to watch and we took tonz of pictures. Keisha had no idea. It was adorable. Th en on Sunday we discovered the Easter bunny had come to visit Adelyn. She was ecstatic about all the chocolate. We went to the Youngs for breakfast and then spent the afternoon in Parowan with the Rowley's. Hope you all had a very Happy Easter!

He's BAAACCCK!

My littlest bro. Brennan came home from his mission on Friday April 2nd. It was so exciting to see him. We got to the airport about 45 minutes early because I was so afraid he would come early. Luckily, I brought signs and glitter for me and Adelyn to make while we were waiting. We had most the family there and it was, as usual, so fun to all be together. Brennan went to Texas on his mission and came off the plane with a huge cowboy hat (grandpa orton would have been so proud) and a huge Texas belt buckle. He looks the same, but like all boys who go on missions, came back looking like a man. We are so glad he is home. Adelyn is now more confused than ever with Chase, Nick and Brennan!
