ITS A ......

We found out today what we are having! We are expecting a baby boy!!!!! We are very excited.... except for Adelyn who threw a royal tantrum when she found out during the ultrasound. She is still adament we are having a girl. She had her named, and she is very stubborn. We had her call Grandma Rowley to tell her, and she said we are having a GIRL (emphasis on girl when she said it). All day long people have been asking her what we are having, and it is still a GIRL!!! We have 5 months to prep her I guess. I think she will come around and LOVE her baby brother. Oh how I love her! We are so excited and it will be a blast to have one of each. We have no clue on names (we figured we were having a girl since Adelyn was so sure). Any suggestions?

Disneyland 2009

We had the awesome opportunity of going to Disneyland for Labor Day weekend (thank you so much Darrell and Susie). We spent the weekend with the whole family in Cali-for-i-a!!! It was a blast. Adelyn has been so excited for about a month and could not sleep much the last week before we went. She was most excited to see all the Princesses (thats my girl). Grandma Rowley bought her a princess backpack for the trip which came in very handy. Trav, Addy, Susie, Jenny and I drove down to funland on Friday. Sterling flew down and Sarah, Justin and Rudger made the longest trip of 11 hrs of driving. Here are some of the top memories from the trip.

1. Being with the whole family--- I think it was the 1st official family vacation since we have been married. It will be tough to top

2. Adelyn seeing the Princesses. We stood in line for about 2 hours, but it was really worth it. The Princesses were switching out as we were visiting with the last of the 3 so we were able to see 6 and Adelyn talked to 4. She was so excited before we got to them, but she got completely shy when she actually talked to them as the pics show. I am so grateful all the princesses were under one roof.

3. The Disneyland sign book Sarah made Adelyn. This was so handy and such an awesome idea. Sarah had made Addy and Rudger a book with cartoon pics of all the Disney characters for them to sign. Since we spent ALL DAY on saturday finding characters cause that is what Addy wanted to do, the book was priceless. Thank you Aunt Sarah!!!!

4. The fireworks at night. Adelyn LOVED them and she is quite vocal so everyone around us heard here go OHHH and AHHH! It was adorable and made the fireworks all the more exciting and fun for us and those around us. I love my daughter, she is just who she is at all places.

5. Seeing all the characters. We got a lot of signatures and talked to a lot of them. Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Mulan, Jasmine, saw Belle and Ariel, talked to Fairy Godmother, Tinkerbell and a yellow fairy, Captn Cook, Pooh, Tigger, Eyore, Saw the Pixar parade (all the pixar characters. She loved lightening McQueen) Woody and Jesse, and others I cant think of now.

6. The rides. Adelyn loved Small World, Toy Story, Buzz,Monsters,Pooh, Dumbo and all rides in bug land except Bug movie and Pirates of Carribean (they scared her). When we got out of buzzlightyear, toy story and had to leave the splash park she would say lets do that again. Of course we went on many rides but imposssible to write them all down. She went on many rides with Grandma and Grandpa and she loved it.

7. K so being 4 months prego I was kinda afraid to on many "big kids" rides. I decided I would go on the Grizzley white water raft ride. After seeing a sign that said pregant woman should not ride I started to leave. Susie, Darrell and Trav all convinced me it would be ok if I went. So I went. It was a blast. The 4 of us had so much fun. Mom Young sat next to the opening and I was so sure that she was going to get soaked. I made more than a couple remarks about it. Well, as luck would have it..... I was the one who the big wave came up over and landed on, drenching me head to toe with water. It was hilarious. I must admit after the 105 degree weather it was a great way to cool off!

8. When we first entered the park there was a parade with Alice Wonderland and Friends along with a band. They had a bunch of strollers lined up. In the picture as you can see... I just entered myself and Addy on the opposite side. A little unorthodox, but made a memory.

Thank you Mom and Dad Young. We made priceless memories and had a blast!!
