Luau Date

So Chases cute girlfriend Mandy and I decided we would surprise our boys with a fun date. We sent our boys on a scavanger hunt where they ended up at me and Travs backyard. We had some hawaian (spelling sorry) music and a blanket with some leis and a menu. The boys had to order in Hawaiian off the Hawaiian menu (we looked up the official terms online before we made the menus). It was soooo funny hearing them try to order. We all ate a three course meal and then loaded up and went to Parowan to tell Shonell and Dylan bye. It was the funnest date we have had in a while. Thanks Rach for watching Addy and thanks Mandy and Chase!

4th of July

We did a lot over the fouth of July. We went to Salt Lake for our summer family vacation. The next 6 or 7 post will be about what we did. We were soooo busy and still did not get to see all the family we wished we could have. Next trip I hope we will be able to see those of you we didnt.

Peanuts, Cracker Jacks, and Bees Wax.

Travis wanted to go to a Bees Game. So we gathered the Greens and Mom and Dad and went to Franklin Covey Field. Although they got their butts kicked, it was still a blast. Afterwards they had fireworks.

I-Fly and Flowrider

We met Mom, Dad, Sterling, and Jenny in Ogden. There we went skydiving at the I-Fly. It was a windtunnel that allowed you to float in the air with only the wind holding you up. It was intense and exhilirating! Check out the pics.
After I-Fly we tried out the flowrider; an artificial wave where we surfed and boogy-boarded. Closest thing to Cali for now.

Hogle Zoo

Saturday morning we went to the zoo. We couldn't stay long but we got to see the white aligator and the bird show.

Fireworks

Of course we did fireworks on Mike and Shonell's road after a neighborhood BBQ. Then we went to the West Jordan fireworks that started at 11:00 so the kids were tired.

Parade

What is the 4th of July without a Parade? Travis would say bliss... but I would strongly disagree. We went to the South Jordan Parade with Mike and Shonell and their kids, and Mom and Dad. The parade was unexpectadly long so we left. Next to the parade at a park they had fun blow up slides and pony rides for the kids. Adelyn enjoyed her first Pony ride.... but she LOVED the park slides and swings(the free stuff).
