Addy's 1st Dance Recital

Adelyn had her first dance recital at the PHS auditorium last night. She was such a litte star! She did a great job dancing and looked absolutely adorable (thanks Keisha and Grandma Rowley). She danced the storybook dance. I had set out a book for Addy to use for dance class and I picked one that we really didnt use, not knowing she would be dancing with that book at the recital. It was Wall- E. Oh well! Anyway she LOVES dancing and it was so fun to see her eat up the stage. Anyone who knows my Addy knows she is no stranger to basking in the attention she gets. You did awesome Addy. We love you much.

Boston was lovin all the girls at the recital also. He was swaying back and forth (dancing) and tapping his foot to the beat. It was HIlarious!

Thanks to all the family who came to support (and giggle) at my Addy's dance recital. She was so excited to have so much family there!

Preparing for Christmas

December is such a fun month. I love all the lights, decorating my house, the excitement from the kids, and all the treats! Here is a little bit of how we have been getting ready for the big day.

Of course we took a visit to Santa. Boston just stared at him the whole time. I think he was trying to figure out who this funny looking man was and why on earth he was holding him.

Adelyn on the other hand, was so excited to talk to Santa. She acted kinda shy around him, but got out that she wanted a bike. He said he wasnt sure if it fit on the sleigh, but he would try. She is so fun for Christmas. She is full of energy (more than usual) and makes the season such a blast. It takes me back when I kid and how fun Christmas was.

We went to the Parade and Addy's BFF Gabby came with us. They were most excited about the Princesses. This is my most favorite parade because they have all the disney characters. So fun!

Then last night we decided we would make a gingerbread house. We did this last year with some friends and Adelyn loved it. So we got all the treats, the icing, graham crackers, turned on Alabama Christmas music and started making our house. Heres how it turned out!

Hope your Christmas is filled with happiness and traditions as well!
