Happy Halloween 2011

Painting (rather than carving) our Jack O Lanterns
Busy, Busy, Busy

I love how Boston is looking at Adelyn, and how big her smile is here
Happy Halloween

Ariel and Handy Manny

Adelyn and her friend Addison Kubush

Such a happy girl
Makani and Kai

Amidst all the packing, we went to the Vero Beach Ward Trunk or Treat.  Adelyn was Ariel and Boston was Handy Manny.  The kids went from table to table (we had quite the rain storm from the effects of Hurricane Rina) "Trick or Treating" and ended up with way more candy then they will ever be able to eat in their lifetime.  It was tonz of fun.  They also had a Chili Cook-Off so I decided I should pitch in and make some chili.  My Chili got 3rd place!!!!!  I was shocked and thrillled.  The kids got some pics with our good friends here who we will miss so very very much!  People really make or break a place and we feel we have been immensely blessed to have met the people and friends we did while we were here in Florida.  We decided to paint our pumpkins this year instead of carving them, so here are some pictures of that as well.  The kids had so much doing it. Happy Halloween!!!

Oktoberfest at Pointe West

They had Oktoberfest here at Pointe West so we took the kids and went.  Adelyn had a princess crown made of ballons and Boston had a motorcycle made of ballons.  Both kids rode ponies.  And of course they had the bounce houses.  The kids had a blast.  I will miss activities like this out here in the 75 degree weather in Florida.

We are.....

MOVING!!!  Yep.  We are moving back to Utah this week.  Travis was blessed and found a job working as a contractor for a company in San Diego.  The best news is they will let him work from home so we are moving back to Cedar City.  We are so very excited about it.  Things have just really fallen into place (knock on wood) and we will hopefully be there for my Brother Chase to bless his first born son.  We are trying hard to get there in time.  Travis will be in San Diego for about a month setting things up and we will hopefully look for a house to buy in Cedar.  Travis is also working on getting a full time job with a company that has been recruiting and talking to him for about 6 months now and that would be a permanent job.  We will definately miss Florida though.  It took some getting used to, but we really got in the groove in the last couple of months.  We have made so many good and great lifetime friends here that will be sorely missed.  We are excited to go back though.  We have many friends and of course both of our families are there also.  We are planning and packing like maniacs, but it will be well worth it.  Bitter, Sweet.  That is how I feel.

Brevard Zoo

While Grandma and Grandpa Young were here, we decided to go to the nearby zoo.  It was a very interactive zoo.  Adelyn and Boston were able to feed a Girafee and some birds.  We saw a ton of animals I had never seen before also.  At the end of zoo there is a little water park for the kids to play in.  Addy and Boston were in seventh heaven playing in the water.  Adelyn also made herself a little friend while we were there. This happens everywhere we go.  She has such a gift for being and finding friends.  It was so fun to hang out in the sun a little and the kids really loved seeing the all the animals.

DisneyWORLD!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Young came out to see us in Florida.  We were able to go to DisneyWorld for a day while they were here, which was a blast.  I kept telling Adelyn she is one lucky girl to have gone to both Disneyland and Disneyworld by the time she was 5.  I was very excited to go to DisneyWorld also because I have never been there.  It was great weather (not too hot or too humid) and since there were not very many people there we were able to go on a lot of rides.  With short lines and nice weather, we were able to do everything in Fantasy Land we wanted.  Addy was scared to go on Pirates of Carribean which really shocked me because she loved the ride when we went to Disneyland.  But Addy and I's favorite ride still has to be "Its a small World".  We loved the dolls from all around the world that move and dance. Boston thought the place was as good as any carnival he had been to, but he loved having his Grandpa and Dad there so he wasn't outnumbered with girls.
