Finally... some pics of my prego belly

I know, I know... I have been horrible at taking pictures of me while I have been pregnant. Here I am at 32 weeks. This pregnacy has been COMPLETELY different than Adelyn. I have not been sick hardly at all, unless I wait to long to eat between breakfast and lunch. I am gaining all my baby weight in my belly rather than my butt and thighs like I did Adelyn (which I am grateful for because I look preganant rather than fat). I have had no real cravings, which I didnt with Adelyn either. Few foods sound completely gross to me, whereas with Adelyn no certain foods particularly but at times some food made me want and actually vomit just thinking about them. I am really preparing for the baby and getting so excited. I put up all our Christmas already because in my mind it is like Christmas, New Years and baby. I completely forgot about Valentines Day until I went to Walmart and they had all this Valentines stuff up. Having a girl and a boy will be such a blast. Adelyn is VERY excited now for her baby BROTHER! We have made immense progress. We have no names still, and the one we liked, we just realized we didnt like:) That is no surprise. Both Trav and I extremely picky with names. Any suggestions?

Christmas 2009

First of all, Merry Belated Christmas to all. Christmas was a blast this year. As Addy gets older and understands it a little better, it get funner and funner. We spent Christmas Eve at the Youngs and had the traditional dinner, snowballs, read the scriptural account of Jesus' Birth, and of course read the Night Before Christmas (which was basically Addy reading it by memory to all of us). The whole Young clan was there and it was so great to spend time with all family. The last couple of months have had some trials that, I feel, has really made us a lot closer to one another. We opened Christmas Eve pj's and then my little family headed home for a good nights rest!

Adelyn got a princess drawing table, a potty dolly (her specific request) some books and a bunch of other gifts. The girl is spoiled! She didnt sleep 2-3 days prior to Santa because I made the stupid mistake of telling her that she would get coal only if she didnt mind her mom. She figured she had not been a very nice girl so she was getting coal. She really is a good kid, so I dont know why she was so worried about it. She was thrilled when she saw actual presents under the tree.

Trav was in charge of buying my Christmas and he spent all the week prior to that working and the week prior to that schooling and working. He had me convinced that he had no time to get my presents, and I would not buy my own. I had prepped myself for nothing under the tree and as Christmas Eve came, there was still nothing under the tree. However when I woke up I had presents under the tree and a stuffed stocking. I have no idea where or when he did it,.... but it was such a great awesome suprise. I am so lucky to have married him.

We spent Christmas day with both our families and loved the time we were able to both. We were also able to talk to Uncle Brennan on his mission. Crazy to think he will be home in 4 short months. We had a wonderful Christmas, and hope you did as well!

Quick Update

Wow! So long since I last updated. The stockings are hung, the presents are wrapped, the lights and tree are up.... and we are counting down for Santa Clause at our house. Adelyn wants a pretend pink puppy and a dolly from Santa- but she didnt decide this until after I had gone Christmas shopping. Mom, Monica, Avery, Kenzey, Brenley, Candace, Bridget and I all went to Las Vegas Christmas shopping for black friday (its our fun tradition). I got 90 percent of my Christmas shopping done... so it was successful. I was amazed I lasted as long as I did, a 12-13 hour shopping day and being 6 months prego and all. It was a blast. We ate Thanksgiving dinner with the Rowley's this year, but spent a lot of time at the Youngs helping cope with a scare over the holidays.

We have our little nephew Rudger living with us for a couple of weeks. The family is going through a hard time right now and he is so fun. He and Adelyn have a love-hate relationship (being 2 and 3 and wanting the same toy ALL the time). But they do spend a lot of time laughing with each other. It has made me really excited to have a baby boy and has been good practice for Adelyn and sharing.

Travis is done with the semester-- took his last test and finished his engine project today. Next semester he will work full time here at his current part time job and take just a couple of classes. I cannot believe he really will be graduating in May. I thought the day would never come. I am amazed at how he balances work, school, and family and does it with ease. He is so incredible. I am so lucky and so blessed to be his wife.

Speaking of jobs... I told my principal I was done working as of December 18... the last day until Christmas break. I am sad about it. This job was ideal for me in that it was in the school district and also only a couple of hours a day. But I just dont want to take a newborn to the babysitter and I have 0 maternity leave with my job. I am a little nervous about how Adelyn is going to adjust not having moms total attention and time also. So we will be reealllly poor, but with Trav picking up more hours at his job, it should all work out until he starts applying for higher paying jobs. We will see.

Sorry no pics this go 'round, but some are sure to follow. Hope all is well with you and Merry Christmas!
