So my great friend and past roommate Mary Ann is leaving Cedar for Portland today. She and I had a wonderful catch up of life and a great discussion on life and love. As I was driving to Godfathers Pizza to see her for the last time before she moved, I began to get very nostaligic. I was thinking of all the AWESOME friends and roommates I had while I was in college. Some of which I keep in contact with... others I have no idea where they are, but all have left an imprint on me. I am so blessed to continually have good friends. Good Luck Mair! Cedar will miss you.... and remember.... YOU ARE MY FAVORITE TOO!

Kiss This
Adelyn likes me kiss her boo-boos. It makes them feel better like magic! Well... she has a rash on her bum. She asked me yesterday "mom it (her bum rash) hurts... will you kiss it better? Ummmm..... NO!

Morning Breath
Adelyn comes in my bedroom every morning and wakes me up. She usually gets in bed by me and lays down for a bit. She was playing with my lips and they started to hurt. I puffed up my cheeks with air and the next time she flicked my lips I let the air out. She said "OOOOO... Sick Mom!". SHe then rolled over so she was facing the other side! Apparently she did not like my morning breath. Maybe way too much info... but I thought it was HIlarious.

Mighty Ducks and Grandma
So... we came up to Parowan to visit my Grandma Orton and go for a four wheeler ride. We decided while we were there that we would rake her leaves. Adelyn had fun jumping in the leaves. Grandma had kept some bread (for a long time) to take to the ducks in Parowan kids pond. We went to the pond and fed the ducks. Adelyn LOVED them. She is such an animal lover... which she definately does not get from me. Anyway we had so much fun spending time with Grandma Orton!

Adelyn
I have not posted for a long time... so I thought I would update. I forget my camera everywhere I go so I have no pictures. But here are some facts about Adelyn and helps you get a better picture of the little person she has become.
1. Her new favorite movie is Mulan. She told her dad she was "going to make a man out of him" and when we get ready to go places... all on her own she came up with "move out"!
2. She is stinkin smart. She has a broad vocabualary and annunciates (spelling?) so well. People think she is about 3 when she talks. My Grandma Orton was right when she asked Addy if she was going to be smart "like your daddy"? I guess I am the not the smart one!
3. She LOVES to sing. Her favorite songs are wheels on the bus, alphabet (crazy huh?), popcorn popping, head shoulders knees and toes, twinkle twinkle, and Jesus wants YOU for a sunbeam.
4. She is hilarious. I honestly laugh all day long with her. Some of the things that come out her mouth just make me wonder where she comes up with these things.
5. She loves to dance. She tells me... shake your booty mom! We love to dance on the beds to whatever music is on the radio.
6. She loves books. Adelyn sits down and pretends to read the books herself. She loves going to storytime... but mostly to be social.
7. She is a social butterfly. Thats right! Even though she may look all daddy... she has my personality. She will talk to anyone about anything.
8. She is a daddys girl. We call Dad on the phone when she and I wake up to say hello every morning. She tells him that she misses him and usually makes up some story of what we are going to do that day (like we are going to the park when we are not).
9. She is such a happy girl. Her smile and laugh light up a room anywhere she is and is very contagious. She is almost always smiling... so my days are filled with laughter and smiles. I love IT!
10. She loves to color. She has a cardboard at my moms office where she loves to pull out all the markers and just color. She could do this for hours.
11. She LOVES her grandmas. She has so much fun shopping with grandma Rowley and having "tea parties" with grandma Young. She asks me almost daily, can we go see grandma? I love having both families so close so she can make great memories with them.
I am so lucky to be her MOM! I LOVE IT AND I LOVE HER!
