Pine Wood Derby!

Our ward held a pine wood derby tonight. Travis got waaay into it and is extremely competitive I learned. He spent 6 hours on his "Lotus"car. It looked like a porcelain car before he had painted it. Adelyn just wanted a pink car.... and he couldnt bring himself to having a pink Lotus, so he made her a little pink car. Her pink car that took about 1 hour to make kicked his Lotus' butt! It was so fun though and his competitive nature made the derby a blast for us. Travs car was awarded the "Sportyest Car" and Adelyns car was awarded the Pinkest car. There were some awesome cars there, and Adelyns competed very well. She ended up getting 5th place. Atta girl!

Grandma Janet, Aunt Dolly and Aunt Dee!!

This is our online Thank you card... hope you dont mind. Thank you for the cards and for the $20.00. Adelyn went to Walmart last night and bought her a bathtime dolly, some Dora bubbles, and some gum with the money. She is in the bathtub right now as I type with her dolly and bubbles. The dolly came complete with "pretend" shampoo, a bathrobe, a washcloth, soap, and a rubber ducky that lights up in the tub. Here is a picture of the present. She picked it out all by herself and just played and played with the doll last night. The first thing she did when we got the dolly out of the package was take all her clothes off-- she does this with all her dolls (should I be worried?) The remainder of the money went in her little piggy bank. She loves to save and collect money. Thank you again for the birthday wishes and presents. We love and miss you all!

She's 3!!!!

Adelyn had a week full of birthday celebrations. On her birthday she and I spent the day doing whatever she wanted... which was going to storytime and going to "Mickeldonalds" for lunch. Chase, Nick, Grandma Rowley and Dad joined us at Mcdonalds. That evening we had all family who could come and eat ice cream and cake.



We got Adelyn all Tinkerbell stuff.



She was mighty spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Rowley and by Grandma Orton.


She and I made her cake"s" since she LOVES to cook with me. Of course.... they were Tinkerbell cakes.


On Saturday, Grandpa and Grandma Young and Jenny celebrated Adelyns birthday with us. She got awfully spoiled also with TONZ of princess stuff. She loved it all. We then all loaded up and went to S.G. to eat at Pirates Island. Adelyn had a blast and we all got super full.

Thank you to everyone who made Adelyns 3rd birthday so fun. She loved all the presents and you are all so very generous.

Better Late than Never eh? Halloween 2009

So it is about time I posted our Halloween adventures. This year Adelyn and I were witches, and Trav..... well I couldnt convince him this year to dress up. Addy and I went around our neighborhood and collected the goods, while Trav handed out the candy at our house. We went to Luke and Candaces that night and went Trick or Treating with them and Mom and Dad Rowley, Nick and his cute girly friend Bridget. We then had pizza and Sterling and Mom Young came to join us. It was such a fun day. During the day we went to the SUU game and were able to sit in "the box". I could definately watch every f-ball game like that. What a great day! Hope your Halloween was awesome also.
