A weekend of Firsts

Adelyn had her very first sleep over (other than at Grandma Rowley's). She spent Friday night at her BF Reagans house. The 2 of them get along so well and they already act like teenagers (scccarrrryy). Toni said she went in to tell them to go to sleep and they were "just talking".... this was at 11 pm. They eventually went to sleep. Trav and I were able to actually go on a date to Olive Garden and Boston stayed asleep the whole time. Isnt amazing what an adult conversation can do for your marriage? It was so fun! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, COLBY AND TONI!

The Yankee didn't provide any bites for us, but Adelyn was able to use her Dora pole for the first time this summer and Boston went "fishin" for his fist time ever. Adelyn loved to eat the licorice and cheetos and run up and down the hill with her cousin and BF Reagan. They were throwin rocks in the reservior.... so its no wonder we didnt catch any fish. Boston and Grandma Rowley spent a large majority of the time in the truck tryin to avoid the wind. It was fun though and I got a fishin license so I am sure we will have more fishing adventures this summer!

We then went to SHREK 4 at the movie theater with Luke, Candace, and Ty and Grandma and Grandpa Rowley. Boston experianced his first movie in a theater. He was such a good little boy.... although they play the movies so loud I was worried about his ears the whole time. He and I went out in the hall for about 5 minutes and he went to sleep. He lasted the whole movie though which was very surprising to me. Adelyn said she liked movie.

We also went to the Parowan Cemetary and got to see a lot of flags fly for so many who have died and served in the military. Adelyn got to see her Great Grandpa and Grandma Rowleys grave, as well as Great Grandpa Orton. As we think about moving and jobs in other areas of the country, I realize how grateful I am that we can experiance moments like these with the people we love. I am turning into such a softy huh?
