Travis and I decided for our 6th Anniversary we were going to go on a cruise to the Bahamas. Trav's parents flew out to Florida to watch the kids for a weekend while we explored the deep blue sea in the Carribean. Unfortunately, the weather was horrific. It flooded in Vero Beach and Travis's parents were even without power for about an hour. The Cruise ship was sailing on very rough waters. I got so sick and ended up throwing up the whole first night. The weather was so bad that the cruise ship cancelled our day at the Cruise's private island in the Bahamas, CocoCay. We were so bummed. We planned on going snokeling there, but the weather was too bad to do that. So we stayed on the ship. All in all, the trip was fun. It was so fun to just hang with my man and do nothing and/or anything we wanted, when we wanted. It was a great vacation and just maybe next cruise we take, the weather will work out for us. We were able to see the Bahamas. We walked to their beach (dirty) and then went to the famous Atlantis Hotel. So we were able to sightseeing a bit. It was great to be wined and dined for meals and get dressed up also. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Young for watching our little ones!

FUN! Good for you to get away, isn't it so fun to be reminded what what a wonderful person you married and how much fun you can have just the two of you?! How did you handle being away from your kiddos? I keep thinking it would be fun and a needed break, but I dont know if I would relax being gone for too long either. Love your pictures...and happy belated ANNIVERSARY!
I'm jealous you went on a cruise!!! Then again, it does give me hope that I will go on one someday too!
Too bad about the weather, but it still looks like you had fun!
