Today was Adelyn's last day of PEPP Kindergarten. We have mixed emotions about it here. When I asked her if she was excited for it to be her last day, she said "no because she won't get to see Mrs. Reid and Megan and Mckenzie are going to a different school." I tried to make her feel better about it all, but it was all true as far as we know. Megan and McKenzie are her best friends in school. She did have such a blast at school though, and there may or may not have been a little tear shed as I realize just how big my girl is and how much she has grown as a person over this last year. But, there is no doubt about it, we are REALLY excited for Summer in San Diego and she has many friends she will be spending the summer hanging out with as well. Bring on SUMMERTIME!!! |
