We made a lot of memories this Halloween. We wen to the annual Rowley family Halloween party where the kids got all dressed up in there costumes for the first time. We played games and ate food and had tons of fun! Halloween day Boston got to wear his costume to preschool and took his pumpkin he painted (we painted them this year rather than carve them). He came home with the ribbon "prettiest pumpkin". That night we had Jack o lantern Papa Murpheys pizza and then set out to the school carnival. I was unable to go through any of the booths with the kids because I volunteered to help for a half hour and ended up being the the only who showed up to help. Luckily Travis and Darrell and Susie were able to take the kids around. After the carnival we went back to our house and Susie and I took the kids trick or treating around our neighborhood. I love that my kids live in a safe neighborhood where the kids can walk around from house to house and we know who our neighbors are. I love there are so many kids here. Addy went trick or treating with her friends (Peyslie and Peshanie) for the first time with out a parent as well. Luckily they only went around the block. Our costumes was supposed to be a candy bar family. Travis was intended to be a sugar daddy and I a lifesaver (never was able to make or order our costumes in time), Addy was a Tootsie Roll, Boston was intended to be a Big Hunk (he was for family party but wanted to be Wolverine for Halloween day), Emmy was a Mounds candy bar with the words "Some dont" and Max was an Almond Joy candy bar with the words "some have nuts". It was a fun holiday and we made some good memories.

Labor Day
Labor day is such a fun holiday in our family. The Rowley extended family usually gets together and spends the weekend in Parowan attending the parade, the carnival, the rodeos, etc. We took the kids to the Mud Bogs this year and Boston and Addy thought it was so cool. Trav was pretty excited too! This year was especially special because the girls in the family decided we were going to run the 5K in honor of my Mom who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We all dressed in matching pink socks and splashed ourselves in pink and ran. It was really cool. It was definately a memorable holiday for all of our family.

CANCER
Two weeks after we had our Twins my Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Luckily we caught it very early and after her lumpectomy, she was offically at stage 0. She decided however, with the full support of her family, to continue and do treatment. We just dont find they missed something and have it come back with a vengence or at a stage 5 later down the road. She did really well with her radiation other than having a few days of extreme nausea. She will now do chemotherapy for 5 years. She is getting very tired now that she has been taking the chemo pill for a couple of months. I was able to be there the day she finished her radiation treatment. The treatment center has a big gong they have patients hit on their last day of treatment as a way to celebrate. I was able to be there. I am so proud of my Mom and how she has handled this situation. I am convinced that this was a big reason why we were to move back to when we did. So grateful she is doing so well and we caught is so early on,

3 months old
Max is more chillax and his cry is more of a small whimper. He has reflux which makes him miserable. He loves to be held all the time right now. He has started to interact with objects. He can roll over, but likes his back now so he doesnt roll over much. He sleeps upright in the swing and is getting a very flat head. Emmy sleeps in her crib. They used to sleep together, but Max could not sleep flat and Emmy is a wild sleeper. Both eat every 2 hours.
