So Blessed

So Boston in now 17 months old!  Time flies. Next month he will be in NURSERY and we cannot wait.  Then maybe we can do our callings with all our energy, not just half. Here is Bostons current stats

Weight:  24 pounds.  I know.  He is a chunk and I LOVE IT!  He has the cutest cheeks (all four of them)  and a big belly.  

He is such a little cuddler still.  

He loves to vacuum.

He and Addy are very bestest friends.  He has not been sleeping(prob. cuz they are both in the same room now and he misses waking up to her laughing.... Im right there with him on that), whining, following me around non-stop wanting me to hold him since Addy has been gone.  Poor thing. 

He has most of all his teeth in.  I think he is missing a total of 4. 

He talks a whole lot more lately.  His new words are "yellow, green, blue, golf ball, basketball, baseball, water, oh wow, owww, "and a whole lot more words.  He is starting to make sentences every so often now also. It is great b/c we can actually understand what he says now.

He is loves to count 1,2, 3.   Sometimes we hear 4.  They are not always in this order though, at least not YET!

He feeds himself with spoons and forks, and yes his hands as well.

He has become very independent over the last couple of weeks also.  He is learning to play by himself cuz Addy is gone.  

He runs now a lot.  The walking is no longer so cool anymore.

Boston LOVES to be outside.  

He puts his own shoes on and he understands the word go.  Whenever we say the word go, he runs for his shoes and the door. 

He climbs on EVERYTHING!  Beds, kitchen chairs, toy box, couches, anything he can, and even if he cant, he will try.  He is somewhat of a daredevil.

Boston can follow simple commands.  The bad thing is, he stops what he is doing if you tell him no, stands and thinks about it, and then does it anyway.  Oh JOY.

He LOVES to Skype.  He got the laptop the other day and opened it and starting talking to Addy on the screen.  

He LOVES Grandpa Craig.  When they were here, he followed my Dad around all day.  My Dad could barely go to the bathroom.  

He whispers sometimes when he says things.

He loves to play "tackle" with Travis when Trav gets home from work.  He will say, "Im gonna get you" and then runs right into Trav.  Travis, the amazing and fun Dad he is, will fall down and Boston climbs on top him and laughs.

He has a fake cry.... and a fake laugh.

We feel so blessed to have such a stud in our little family.  We Love him so much.

Addy had her first airplane ride that she can remember.  She said she loved the plane.  She met Miss Emily who is Queen Cinderella of South Carolina (pagent)and was on her way to Nationals  in LV.  She was so sweet to Addy.  She let Addy wear her crown, and then she showed Addy all of her beautiful gowns.  Addy was in heaven and it made the 6 hour layover go a lot faster.  Emily is now our facebook friend and we keep tabs on her competitions.  

Addy is done with swim lessons.  She did not like them and got to where she would NOT jump off the edge to Sonya.  She is definately stubborn, which is good and bad.

She completed all 12 of her articles of faith! I continue to be amazed at how intellegent Addy is.  She keeps me on my toes for sure.

She LOVES her brother!  They really are best friends.  While she has been in CC, she will hardly talk to me and Trav, but she ALWAYS asks to talk to Boston. It will be such a sweet reunion next week.

She has grown taller and leaner.  She is now in a 5T. She weighs 37 pounds.  I dont remember how tall she is (maybe cuz I figure we will never have tall kids).  She is very lean though....petite is the best word to describe her.  This just happened over the last 2 or 3 weeks so I need to buy her new clothes (just in time for school to start). We bought her new clothes at the beginning of the summer which are now too short, and too small.  

She will begin Preschool in September when we get back from Utah.  She is SO EXCITED for school.

She is beginning to learn addition and subtraction.  Im trying to not teach her too much for fear she will be flat bored in school.  As I mentioned above, the girl is so smart.

 

She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES, AND LOVES to draw pictures of anything.  She is really good at drawing and did I mention she LOVES to draw.  She is drawing hearts nowdays, along with the family pictures and draws pictures of anything she can see.  Did I mention she LOVES to draw? She even calls herself an artist.

She is brains and beauty.  We love her so much.  I love her laugh, which fills our home and our hearts continuously.  She is FUN, FUN, FUN!  We have missed her so much this last week.
