This year for Thanksgiving we spent the day with the Rowley's with most of the Rowley clan. It was so fun to get together as a big family. We did the traditional dinner at Grandma Marsha's. We went around the dinner table and said what we were grateful for. It was very nice. I am so grateful for the lifestyle I am able to give my kids. I am grateful they get to grow up with neighbor friends across the street, they are able to ride bikes and motorcycles on the road. I am grateful they are able to get an education. I am grateful for the good health we all enjoy. I am grateful for Travis and his ability to dream so big! I am grateful for his consistant and perfect perspective of life. I am grateful for each of my children. I am so blessed to have four strong, beautiful, special spirits as my children. I knowt they are unique and their personalities are so powerful I know they will accomplish great things in this life. I am grateful for a home we bought, with a big yard, and room for my kids to play but small enough they have to interact. I just feel so very blessed and I am most grateful for the atonement and my savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful I have the opportunity to repent and be better than I am and better than I was. I know all the blessings I have and will ever have come from a loving father in heaven. For this knowlegdge, I am thankful!

9 years old
Wait... what? Yep! Addy is 9 years old. I love who she is and who she is becoming. Adelyn dances her little heart out. And when she is not dancing she is doing gymnastics. When she is not doing those things... she is drawing and creating. Adelyn got Legos for her birthday and wanted to have a Lego themed birthday party. She invited the entire neighborhood plus some (she has always had a bzillion friends). For her party we had a Lego building contest with 2 teams and then they all went out and built a fort together using large PVC pipes. It was was interesting to see the girls in action and their little personalities come out. We had cake and ice cream, opened presents, and watched a Friends Lego TV show. Legos are perfect for Addy because she likes to create and is very good at it. She is very patient and loves the arts. Love this girl of mine! She is the perfect big sister to her other siblings. I am so grateful she was my first. Boston, Emmy and Max all look up to her so much. She has taught Boston how to read and Emmy wants to do everything Adelyn does. Addy knows her brothers and sisters look up to her and she is such a great example to them. She has a very strong desire to do what is is right, to be kind to all people, and to please others. I love her sweet, innocent, tender heart! She truly is beautiful inside and out! And smart as a can be! Grateful she is ours!

Halloween 2015
Our cousin Tate Green was baptized on Halloween day so we spent Halloween up in South Jordan with the Green Family. The baptism was wonderful and we were so happy for Tate to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. Halloween night we went trick or treating around the Green's neighborhood with them. It was so fun for Addy and Boston to trick or treat with cousins. Emmy and Max had a great time going door to door also (in a stroller). We dressed up as a family this year as the characters in Despicable Me 2 the movie. Our little minons were the cutest ever!

School Begins 2015
I can hardly believe I have a 3rd grader. Where does the time go? Adelyn had been having literal anxiety attacks thinking about third grade. She was nervous about a new teacher, bullying (one of her friends was bullied in 3rd grade and so she worried she would too) and about the curriculum (mulitiplication and cursive). Addy is a super smart girl so I was not worried about her academically at all. I knew she would be fine but I had heard a friend say she began praying the beginning of August her kids would get teachers that were a good fit for them. So I did the same for Adelyn and Boston. I dont request teachers, but I felt like going to the Lord and requesting there would be my best bet. She ended up getting Mrs. Hunt.... a new teacher. She was thrilled and relieved when she found out Mrs. Hunt knew Lucas and Candace and their family really well because she lived by them. Adelyn's anxiety about school went away after finding out about that. Mrs. Hunt has been an awesome fit of Adelyn and she has done very well with multiplication and cursive. Prayers were answered. Adelyns anxiety have gone completely away. I love her so much! I love that no matter who her teacher is, she excells in school. I love that she loves school. I love that she is so smart. I love that she gets along with and is a friend to everyone!

Paladsades
We went with the Rowley family to Palisades and camped! This was the second year we have done this..... and probably the last for a while. With 2 babies, it was crazy! Addy and Boston had so much fun. The played in the water , went on paddleboards, peddle boats, and Add experienced her first time cliff jumping! She was really nervous the first time so I jumped with her, but then she just kept wanting to go over and over again. Boston had a blast and such a little devil I was sure to keep o e eye him at all times. He had tons of fun playing with his cousins. Emmy and Max played on the beach and had fun. They rode on the peddle boat with us and loved it.

one year old
I cannot believe my babies are a year old. Max is beginning to walk. Emmy is showing no interest at all yet. Max claps when you tell him "good job". He pulls an "oh" face all the time now like he is surprised or shocked. He and Emmy are beginning to show interest in books. At his doctors appt he weighed 16 pounds 12 oz (.19%). He is a skinny little runt. He is 29 inches tall (23%). He still is attached to his bottle and we are finally starting to get a regular sleeping and nap schedule. He is snoopy and into everything. He has learned to fight back with Emmy for things he wants. They both really love their bath time. Max likes to eat new things. If he has eaten it before, he doesn't want it again. This is fine for a little bit, but I know I can't keep that up. Max loves balls. He is learning to throw the balls. He loves to roll the ball back and forth with anyone. Emmy is still crawling all-over the place. She is vocal. She tries to take everything from Max, but he is learning to take things back. She loves to held. Her hair is getting really long and she will stroke it and say "pretty". Travis has always called her "pretty girl" from the day she was born. They both love to be outside, but not restricted. At her doctors appt she weighed 18 pounds 2 oz (8%). She's a good eater. She loves her bottle. She is 28.5 inches tall (29%). So she is fatter and shorter than her brother. Thinking she will be like her sister and thin out when she starts to walk. I love each of them so much! Each has brought their own (strong) personality in our family and it seems weird now they weren't part of our family before. Not gonna lie though..... they hit one and life got hard. Whoever said the first year of twins was the hardest.......LIED!! For their birthday we had a BBQ. I felt like I was celebrating living through the first year. I thi k for the next few years it will be me silently celebrating we made it through another year!

10 months
New tricks learned: Emmy waves hello and high fives. Max claps and plays pat-a-cake. They both are speaking a lot of gibberish. A lot of gibberish to each other (twin lingo?). Each pull themselves up to everything they possibly can. They are not standing alone yet though. They are usually found together in small nooks and crannies I didn't even know existed in the house. They continue to eat foods 2-3 times a day. They are getting really independent and play together most of the day. This is the time when it is wonderful to have 2.... they entertain each other. The other day they were literally playing hide- and seek- with each other. I think Addy had played it with them before. Emmy would come in the kitchen and hide behind the bar and Max would go after her and then when he saw her they would laugh. She would then crawl somewhere else and do the same thing. I was dying. I love to hear them laugh at loud together.

Max has gotten to be a really happy, smily boy. He is such a stud. He usually is the leader as far as where he and Emmy go, but when she wants a toy he usually lets her have it. Sometimes if he really wants the toy he will hit her in the face or grab the toy. He claps a lot and "sings" himself to sleeps. He is doing much better at sleeping now... wakes up once a night usually, and then we get him a bottle and he goes back to bed. He is no longer taking medicine for his reflux because he is not throwing up anymore thank heavens. He is eating more and it seems like he is catching up to Emmy. He wears 9-12 month clothes now. But some of his onsies that are 6 months still fit him. Max was playing "catch " with Boston yesterday and was rolling the baseball back to Boston. He likes to be read to and loves to play with Boston.
