Boston is 9 months old! Can't believe it. This little guy is growing so fast. He is showing signs of an engineer already. He doesn't talk much but is very observant and when he plays with toys I can just see the wheels in his head turning. "How does this work? How was this made? What else can I use this for?"
He is walking (with help of course). He can't stand on his own yet, but LOVES to be on his feet. I was thinking back about Addy and she was walking on her own at 10 months. That would mean Boston walking next month people! I'm thinking I am going to try to keep from mobile as long as possible. Although he crawls everywhere and I can no longer leave him in a room and expect him to stay there with the one toy I gave him. His crawl is more of a scoot, with his head down so he gets rug burns. But he gets where he wants to go and is so chill he doesn't care how long it takes him to get there.
Exactly opposite of his sister, he will eat ANYTHING! He will try and eat anything anyone wants to give him. We started feeding him a bit of the things we eat other than just baby food because he looks at us like " I am not eating what you are eating?" Funny, Addy thinks the same thing " I am definately not eating what you are eating!". Doesn't matter what it is. Since he is done nursing, I am happy to give him whatever food he can digest!
He weighs 20 pounds 10 oz. He is Trav's "little linebacker". Hard for me to believe he started off so little to begin with. He has made up for it and then some.
Boss will kiss you with his mouth wide open and he LOVES to give kisses.
He is really quiet. I must be used to Addy, but he is so quiet....except when he is hungry.
He loves to cuddle.
He my little man and boy do we love him!
Adelyn is 4!!!
She loves her dancing class. She has her first dance recital on the 13th of December and I have heard from many that she is a dang good dancer so I cannot wait to see her dance.
She spends most of her days playing with her new best friend Gabby! They play mom and baby, and jump on the trampoline, play with Barbies and dollys and strollers. She is such a girly girl. I love it!
She absolutely loves school. She cannot wait for Thursdays because it is school day. She does her "homework" (by her own choice) every day. All guess Trav was in school way too long. One day she will hate doing homework, but for now, she will be found doing "homework" a couple times a day.
She loves to draw. Her favorite thing to draw is our family. She is really good for drawing at her age. When we went to her 4 yr. old well check appt the Dr asked me if she was drawing people and what she was drawing. I told him head, eyes, hair, body, arms, legs, nose, mouth. He said most kids only draw 3 things for people at her age. I didnt know that. She really loves to draw.
She weighs 32 pounds. She is growing really good and is healthy as can be.
She is so smart. She knows all the letters of the alphabet and knows the sound each letter has made. She can count to 12 all by herself. We are still working on 13-20. She gets all the numbers, but not in the right order yet. She knows all her shapes and colors. She is real observant!
She is still so full of confidence and spunky and so fun to be around. Never a dull moment with her!
She went and bought her very first toy all by herself with her own money. She got birthday money from Grandma Janet and she found a baby alive doll that eats and the food disappears. She went to the register, put the doll up on the counter, gave the cashier the money, got the change and got the doll all by herself. She was so excited to bring her "baby" home. She now puts it up at the table in its "high chair" when we eat and rocks her baby to bed. She will even "change her diaper". She loves that baby doll.
She loves to mosey in the morning. When she wakes up she likes to take her own sweet time eating, hates getting dressed, especially hates having her hair done and would prefer to sit and watch morning TV. It drives me BONKERS!!!!! I don't let her watch TV in the morning anymore.
She is sunshine in our lives and such a blast. We love her so much!
Life for us is in one word: BUSY! It seems like all the sudden life just got crazy. He is applying for jobs still and he got a job offer... we are just deciding still if it is where and what we want to do. He has been getting a lot of interviews. I hate making decisions. It seems like the economy is picking up though, so that is definately a good sign when you are in the job market. Anyway, I know it will all work out.... its just what is the BEST choice.
Now your updated. Hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving!

Adelyns 4 years Old!!!!
I am in a little bit of denial, but my little girl is 4. 4 seems so old to me. 3 you are still little, but at 4, you are a little person. Adelyn is so much fun to be around. She is spunky and full of life. Adelyn had school in the morning and then dance in the afternoon. We had a family party that night. Travis made her a barbie house for her birthday and he did such an awesome job. I didnt get the "wallpaper" done yet, so it is not finished still. She loved it though. She as very particular of what her cake was. She wanted a pink round cake with Gezelle on the top. She helped me make it again this year. She got a ton of phone calls for her birthday and she got spoiled with a ton of presents. I love that so many people are close to celebrate her birthday. Thank you all for making her day so special. Adelyn we love ya and are so grateful you are ours!

The Big "Booday" bash
Darrell and Susie decided since Darrell wasn't going to be able to be here for either Rudger or Adelyns birthday, they would have a "Booday" bash and combine Halloween with a birthday party for the 2 kids. We had it in a hotel room of the Hampton Inn where the kids could swim and such. Sarah, Rudger, the Twins, Jenny, Mike, Darrell, Susie and our family were all there. We all dressed up for the party. Adelyn was Princess Aurora (sleeping beauty), Boston was a dragon, I was a go-go girl and Travis was a grim reaper. We had so much fun. We ate pizza and then Rudger and Adelyn played pin the face on the pumpkin, and went trick or treating to us adults to get candy. Adelyn and Rudger then opened presents. Before I tell you what Adelyn got, you must know that Travis took her to Sports Authority a couple days before to look for birthday presents. This is what she wanted. She got a pink baseball bat and ball, an adorable black and pink outfit with a headband, and a barbie fishing pole. She was so excited. We all then went swimming in the hotel pool. Adelyn had a blast and she was so glad she could share her birthday with Grandpa Darrell.

Halloween 2010
Man did we celebrate Halloween this year. 4 times over. It was a blast. Our friends had a Halloween party at their house on Friday night. Katie had games for the kids and Adelyn loved it. I didnt take a pic of me and the kids this time because our costumes were the same except I was fairy godmother. Trav put on his full grim reaper costume but couldnt walk out of the driveway. Saturday afternoon we bundled up Adelyn (it was freezing here) and she and I headed out the door with our neighbors Lydia and Kristen. Later Aunt Jenny brought up Rudger to go trick or treating with us also. We hit up most the houses in Sunset and Adelyn ended up with more candy than she could eat (Trav volunteered to help her out) and very tired legs by the time it was over. That night we went up to Parowan for dinner (hots dogs and chili) and hung out there. Aunt Bridget and Uncle Nick came down for the weekend so it was especially fun to get to see them. We then all came back to Lucas and Candaces and the YOUNG adults went to the SUU Haunted House. My first experiance with a haunted house. Trav led the way and I hid my face in his back the whole time. Nick was behind me and was FREAKING out the whole time. My shoulders hurt so bad because we ended up walking in a train. I was not as scared as I thought I would be. That was how we celebrated. Hope you all had a spooky and fun Halloween too!

SUU Trick or Treat!
So my adorable friend Diane and I have made it an annual tradition to go to SUU and trick or treat with the kiddos to the Grandma's and Grandpa's (and hit up a couple of the schools depts. as well). This year was such an adventure as we had 6 kids under the age of 5 with us. But, the kids loved it and we survived!

Stop The Clock
Lately I have been so saddened by how fast my little (actually my chunky) little man is growing up. He weighs 18 pounds 10 oz now and is in the 33 percentile. For this I am grateful because it was quite a shock and scare for me when I saw a 4 for the first number of his birthweight. He is SOOOOO CLOSE to crawling. I give it a week. Trav says 2 weeks. He is teething and the poor little guy didnt sleep for about 3 weeks straight. Once I started getting Tylenol in him he's slept a little better. Poor guy. He rolls and can melt the heart of any girl with is adorable gummy smile. The thing that has me pretty sad is that he is done nursing. He started to prefer bottles about 3 weeks ago and now he wont nurse. Yesterday was the first day I went all day without nursing him, and neither he nor I skipped a beat. Hes growing up! Time for another one?????
Adelyn is my teenage daughter. She loves to show anyone who will watch her "dance moves" she is learning in dance. She absolutely loves school. 5 is the magic number as of late. It seems to her when you turn 5 you can do anything- like go to kindergarten like her friends Owen and Kinlee. She will be sad when she turns five and cant go to kindergarten for another 6 months. She tells us now that we cannot move unless Grandma Marsha can move with us. Grandma Marsha says Trav and I will sure miss Boston and Addy when we have to leave them with us. We will see how it all turns out but I think both of them will be disappointed.
Trav had a interview with Boeing. Now we just wait. I am getting used to the idea of moving.... which means we prob. wont. But I have realized we really do have a wonderful life here. Either way....although money would be a nice thing to have. What would Trav and I do if we had money? No, we have been extremely blessed with nicer things than just the neccessities and we are so grateful.
Happy Halloween planning!!
